My Chronicles and Photos of the 9T4th Entry RAF Halton

January 1960 - December 1962

If anyone has found these pages by mistake I apologise for there being no ornithological content.  But, just for the record, I joined the Royal Air Force in January 1960 as an Aircraft Apprentice.  These are the chronicles of my three years at RAF Halton.

My first camera was an Ilford Sportsman, which cost me the princely sum of £6 .... about a weeks wage for me, as a seventeen year old "Brat" in my first year at Halton.  Both films and processing were expensive back in 1960, so I didn't take too many photos.  These are some that didn't get torn up for incriminating or other reasons.

The Chronicles are written as I remember it .... not necessarily the way it actually happened ..... apologies in advance to anyone who may be offended.
